On Wednesday, a 26-year-old woman was killed by her ex-boyfriend at Pulivendula in the Kadapa district. The woman was stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend.
The deceased has been identified as Rizwana, who was from the Anantpur district in Andhra Pradesh. About five years ago, she was married to a man from Simhadripuram in the Kadapa district, the Times of India reported. The couple has two children. The family transferred to Pulivendula and was living there since last year.
Rizwana who was still in touch with her ex-boyfriend eloped with him three months ago. The ex-boyfriend who has been accused of killing her has been identified as Harshavardhan. He is a resident of NK Kalva of the Anantpur district.
The family members of Rizwana got informed that she was with her lover in Bengaluru. The relatives, family members reached to Rizwana and persuaded her to reunite with her family, to which she agreed. Rizwana started living with her family in Pulivendula.
On Wednesday morning, Rizwana was alone in her home when her enraged ex-boyfriend arrived and stabbed her to death. The accused was arrested immediately by the local police.
The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem and a case was registered by the Pulivendula police.
