Naamkaran‘ actress Anaya Soni’s kidneys fail; seeks financial help: I was living only on my dad’s kidney which is now hardly functioning
Yet again, another TV actor has fallen to hard times amid the COVID-19 pandemic and is now seeking financial help for treatment. Actress Anaya Soni, who has appeared in popular shows like ‘Naamkaran’, ‘Crime Patrol’, and ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’, to name a few may soon undergo a kidney transplant as both her kidneys have stopped working properly. 
In 2015, both her kidneys had failed and it was her father who gave her his kidney. Surviving on just one kidney for the last six years, the actress shared she never imagined herself in a situation like this.
Talking to a leading daily, Anaya who is currently hospitalised revealed she has little to no savings left for the treatment. Her mother ran a garments business which got shut after her house caught fire a while ago. She said, ‘Sab kuch khatam ho gaya. We are just hand-to-mouth now.’ She added, 
Suddenly, the donated kidney has deteriorated and I need a fresh kidney transplant. I never dreamt of such a situation when I was doing shows like ‘Naamkaran’ and ‘Crime Patrol.’ She has now taken to make a very public appeal for help, detailing her ordeal on Instagram. She was seen lying on the bed, talking to the camera, in a hospital gown.
