Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation has taken action for violating the rules of Covid-19 during the wedding ceremony which is going to be held on Sunday at Gurukrupa Hall, Virar East. In view of the growing threat of Omicron, the state government has imposed restrictions on wedding ceremonies and allowed only 100 people in closed halls.
However, the wedding, which was going on in Virar, was attended by more than a hundred people. The municipality has imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 on the owner of the hall as it was found that he did not use social distance or mask at this time. At present, wedding ceremonies are being held everywhere but according to the new rules and regulations of the state government, it has been appealed to avoid crowds at the event.
Night traffic has been banned in some districts of the state and the government has also issued new regulations as the number of corona patients has started increasing again. New corona rules have been introduced in Nagpur from today. A large number of corona infected students have also been found in a reputed college in Pune, so the health department is saying that it is very important to follow the corona rules.
