Even though we are living in the age of science today, there are many instances of a girl or a boy being beaten for interracial love marriage and then killed. A similar incident has taken place in Amravati.
The shocking incident took place in e in Ambada village Amravati district when a girl was abducted from her husband’s house after her parents got angry over her inter-caste love marriage.
Meanwhile, the boy, whom the girl had married, had lodged a complaint with the Morsi police station alleging that he had beaten his wife. However, the police did not take any action in the case within three days.
But as soon as a video of the incident went viral on social media, the girl was brought to the police station from the custody of her parents late last night and the police have recorded the girl’s in-camera reply.
“My family members may have beaten me out of anger, but I do not want to take any action against my parents,” she told police. This time the boy was also interrogated by the police and the Morshi police handed over the girl to the boy.
