Right to Information Activist Anil Galgali’s guidance session on Right to Information Act under the Barefoot Lawyer Training Program organized by Marzi Organization in Kurla East was recently concluded.
One and a half month training class Barefoot has been started by this NGO My Rights, My Responsibilities (Marji) in Kamgar Nagar of Kurla East. The second session of this training was organized recently. On this occasion, the organization’s advisor and senior journalist and RTI activist Anil Galgali guided the trainees in detail about the Right to Information Act 2005.
On this occasion, Anil Galgali advised the trainees to make maximum use of this law for the benefit of society. Anil Galgali further appealed to the trainees present to fulfill their responsibility as a conscious citizen to bring transparency in administration.
Apart from the Right to Information Act, Galgali gave information about various laws like Right to Services Act, lokshahi Din, Citizen Charter. The session was moderated by Prathi Koli, the coordinator of the organization and vote of thanks was given by Vivek Salvi, co-coordinator.
