Holi Festival: What happened to balloons? Cyclist killed in two-wheeler collision

Ramchandra Harinath Patel (54), a shoe polisher, died in an accident at Virar West Agashi.  Arnala police are investigating the accident and have arrested the two-wheelers.

Despite the ban on balloons, many people celebrate Holi by blowing balloons on the streets. But because of this, many have been the victims of accidents. A similar incident has taken place in the Agashi Chaalpeth area on Thursday. This has happened in the case of Ramchandra Harinath Patel, who closed his shoe polish shop and went home to celebrate Holi.

Ramchandra was on his way to Chaalpeth from Virar around 5 pm when some children were blowing balloons from a nearby vehicle for Holi. One of the balloons hit the children coming from Arnala to Virar on a two-wheeler. As a result, the children lost control of the bike and hit Ramchandra on the bicycle. Ramchandra died on the spot.

After getting information about this incident, Arnala police rushed to the spot and took Ramchandra’s body into custody. Raju Mane, senior police inspector of Arnala police station informed that the two-wheeler involved in the incident is from Arnala village.
