Amravati MP Navneet Rana‘s troubles are expected to increase. It is learned that the Mahavikas Aghadi will forward an inquiry into Rana’s Dawood connection to the Financial Crimes Investigation Department (EOW) of the police. Navneet Rana had taken a loan of Rs 60 lakh from Yusuf Lakdawala, a close associate of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. Based on this information, an inquiry will be made to the EOW of Mumbai Police.
Yusuf Lakdawala is a name associated with De Gang. Sanjay Raut has alleged that Navneet Rana took a loan of Rs 80 lakh from this gang. It has been alleged that Sanjay Raut was giving proof of Rana’s election affidavit. This issue is now related to national security. Sanjay Raut had asked whether the ED would investigate the matter.
After this, the Mahavikas Aghadi is now likely to demand an inquiry into the relationship between the Rana couple and the D-Gang. The Mahavikas Aghadi is likely to lodge a complaint with the Mumbai Police soon. An inquiry will be launched by the EOW after the complaint is lodged.
