A man has been arrested for allegedly giving death threat to actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal through social media, the Mumbai police said. A case has been registered at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station.
The accused was identified as Manvinder Singh. He is said to be a struggling actor and a big fan of Katrina Kaif. He wanted to marry the actress and that is why, for the last few months, he was constantly troubling her on social media. He used to post edited videos and pictures of him with the actress on Instagram.
Mumbai Police arrested an accused on Monday for allegedly giving death threats to actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal through social media.

Earlier in the day, the Santacruz Police registered a case against an unidentified man and initiated an investigation.
Police said Vicky Kaushal came to the Santacruz Police Station to file a complaint. Kaushal said the accused had been posting threat messages on Instagram. He added that the man had also been stalking Katrina Kaid and threatening her.Based on the complaint, the Santacruz police here have registered an FIR against the man under Indian Penal Code Sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking), the official said.
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot at the luxurious Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan on December 9.
