The capital of Uttar Pradesh reported a case of firing near a water park in the city. The culprits, not giving any regard to the law-and-order machinery, fired shots at their alleged rival late at night in the city premises and managed to inflict injuries on their targets.
The criminals managed to flee from the scene of the crime after they fired their rounds at the car of their rival bearing number plate UP 32 FA 1177. The car was a white hatchback and the shots pierced the front windscreen of the car and injured the occupants of the vehicle.
It is being alleged that the firing was done due to a previous feud between the two factions that had been at loggerheads for a while now. The police informed Mirror Now that the two factions had been fighting over a dispute that arose in 2018, leading to the extreme step taken.
The incident happened late at night when Raj Kumar Yadav, a gram pradhan, and his brother Raj Karan Yadav were going to a wedding. They were stopped by men in another car and then they started firing at Yadav’s car. The men then called the cops and were taken to the hospital where they are out of danger. The cops have lodged an FIR of the incident and are probing the case with all angles.
The police have taken down statements of the victims and have launched a manhunt on the basis of the information provided to them. An investigation into the brazen crime on the streets of Lucknow has been launched and cops are hopeful of catching the culprits soon.
The daring attack in the capital of Uttar Pradesh is bound to have consequences as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has made it clear that all criminals will be dealt with as harshly as possible and no such activities will be tolerated in the state, let alone Lucknow.
