Goa Police has arrested two others in connection with the death of actress and BJP leader Sonali Phogat. On Saturday, the police arrested the owner of Curly Club and a drug peddler. At the same time, the police also recovered drugs from the bathroom of the club. The police have so far arrested four people in this case.
According to the information received from the police, on the basis of interrogation in this case, Sonali’s PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh were arrested on Friday. At the same time, after interrogating both, the police arrested the drug peddler who supplied drugs to Sukhwinder on Saturday. Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder had reached Goa with Sonali on 22 August.
Meanwhile, the Congress party has made a big allegation on the police. Leader of Opposition in Goa Michael Lobo said, “Police is trying to cover up the matter. In such a situation, the investigation of the alleged murder of Sonali Phogat should be done by the Central Investigation Agency (CBI). In fact, Sonali Phogat died under mysterious circumstances in Goa on Tuesday.
After Sonali Phogat’s death, it was revealed that she died of a heart attack, but later the matter of alleged murder came to light. Congress leader Michael Lobo said, the matter needs to be investigated from every angle. Actually, in the post-mortem report of Sonali Phogat, it was revealed that many injury marks were found on the body.
