According to Paelis, the accused repeatedly raped a 17-year-old girl under the pretext of marriage. He had been absconding for several months after a complaint was lodged against him. It is learned that he has been in Uttar Pradesh since November.
Meanwhile, senior PI of Chunabhatti police station Anil Desai and PI of Chunabhatti police station Younus Sheikh got information through informer that the accused had come to Mumbai Kurla Qureshi Nagar. Chunabhatti police arrested the accused.
