In a shocking incident reported from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, a 13-year-old girl was sedated and allegedly raped by a minor inside a medical store when the victim was returning from her coaching classes.
The horrific incident took place on Tuesday evening. The accused is a 17-year-old boy who locked the girl in a chemist shop owned by his family and violated her.
The girl’s family claimed they caught the accused red-handed. Police have filed a case against the accused under Sections 328 (causing hurt) and 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections of POSCO Act. The girl’s medical examination was done on Wednesday, according to a report in Times of India.
The victim was out for coaching classes when the incident took place. When she didn’t return, the girl’s father and brother went out to search for her.
Later, some friends of the victim told her family they had seen the girl talking to a boy at the medical store. When the girl’s father rushed to the store, he found the shop closed but the lights were on.
