A shocking incident has been reported from Nagaur district of Rajasthan where a minor girl was allegedly gang-raped by five men including a minor boy. The father of the 16-year-old victim has now filed a complaint at Jayal police station on Sunday.
On Monday, police said they have arrested a 20-year-old man and detained the minor boy. In his complaint, the minor girl’s father alleged his the accused at his home on August 26. The 20-year-old accused is their neighbour.
When the girl reached the house of the accused, four other persons were already present at the house, said Surendra Kumar, Station House Officer, Jayal police station.
“The accused raped the girl and threatened her with dire consequences if she dared to reveal the crime to anyone. The victim was scared and under depression after the incident. Noticing the behavioural changes, her family members enquired the victim. She then narrated the ordeal to them,” the report quoted the SHO as saying.
Later, the victim’s father approached the police and filed a case. Hariprasad, Saurabh and one unidentified accused are on the run and being searched, said Circle Officer Rameshwar Lal.
In a similar incident in June this year, a 13-year-old girl was gang-raped in Nagaur district after two persons lured the minor in the middle of the night. One of the accused was known to the victim’s family. Nagaur police later arrested the accused within two hours of the FIR being filed.
