It has been revealed that a ransom of Rs 2 crore has been demanded from a big industrialist of Nashik. The ransom has been demanded in the name of land mafia rummy Rajput and a case has been registered against Rupesh Dhirwani and Mohanlal Pahuja at Satpur police station.
The ransom has been demanded from Ishwar Lapsiya, a businessman from Nashik (resident of Savarkarnagar). According to his complaint, Plot No. 68/4 in Satpur MIDC has been encroached upon. Suspect Rupesh Dhirwani, Mohanlal Pahuja called Lapsia to remove the encroachment. A ransom of Rs 2 crore was demanded for the case.
He threatened to kill businessman Lapsiya and plot owner Suresh Shah, saying the case would cost him dearly if it went to notorious criminal Rummy Rajput. Elderly farmer Ramesh Mandlik was killed for land in Anandvalli area of Nashik. Mandlik’s murder betel nut was given Rs 30 lakh and 10 gunthas of land to Home Guard Ganesh Kale and Abasaheb Bhadange’s nephew Bhagwan Changle. Mandlik went to the fields on February 5 to water the crops.
The gang involved a gang of 20 people including land mafia rummy Rajput, his brother Jimmy Rajput, builder Balasaheb Kolhe and others. It is understood that Rummy Rajput demanded this ransom.
Police Commissioner Deepak Pandey has taken action against land mafia rummy Rajput in the Mandlik murder case. The Commissioner of Police, under all political pressure, handcuffed the infamous Rajput brothers and their gang to a remote area. His action was appreciated. Now it is coming to light that the same Rajput is moving slogans from the jail. This has created fear among the entrepreneurs. Strict action should be taken in this regard.
