A shocking incident took place at Shivajinagar in Govandi, Mumbai. A 20-year-old girl has been raped by four youths. Shivajinagar police have registered a case against four persons and arrested two persons in this regard. A few months ago, a girl was gang-raped in Dombivli Rape Case. After this incident, there was uproar in the whole of Maharashtra. Anger is being expressed after it came to light that a 20-year-old girl was tortured at Govandi.
It also demanded immediate arrest and severe punishment for the other two accused in the case. According to the information received, the victim, a 20-year-old girl, works as a caterer in a hall. The young woman was going home after finishing her work in the morning.
This time an acquaintance asked her where she had gone so late and took her to an uninhabited hut to talk to you. At the same time 3 of his companions also came to the place. The trio then took turns raping the girl. The accused then left. After the accused left, the girl called the police control room and expressed her displeasure.Upon learning this information, Nirbhaya Pathak of the police force rushed to the spot.
Police also brought the victim to the police station and filed a case against the accused. In this regard, the police has formed 10 squads and started searching for the accused. So far, two of the accused were preparing to leave for their hometown in Uttar Pradesh’s Vasti district.
But the police arrested both the accused from Dongari. Police are searching for the other two accused. The arrested accused is minors. The search for the absconding accused is on, said Arjun Rajane, senior police inspector, Shivaji Nagar police station.
