The matter came to light after the actress herself complained about the man to MNS (film wing) president Padmanabh Rane and told him that the casting director tried to ask for sexual favours in return for roles in films.

After hearing the matter, Rane accompanied the actress to a farmhouse where she was allegedly called. Bottles of liquor and a pistol were allegedly found at the location. After Rane, MNS workers also reached the spot and thrashed the accused. Later, the man was handed over to the police.

An official statement from police officials on the same is yet to arrive.
