A large stock of drugs worth about Rs 3 crore 18 lakh brought for a New Year’s party in Mumbai has been seized. The drugs were brought for the December 31 party.
Three African nationals have been arrested in connection with the case. The action has been taken by the anti-narcotics cell of Mumbai Police. The action was taken under the guidance of Crime Branch Joint CP Milind Bharamba and Deputy Commissioner of Police Datta Nalawade.
Anti-drug cell officers spotted an African man walking suspiciously in the BKC area. He was arrested and his first interrogation turned up 105 cocaine and 120 grams of mofedrin drugs. The name of the arrested accused is Ebay Mike.
He gave the names of two other accomplices of the accused during the police interrogation. He told police that the drugs were sold to him by two of his African accomplices.
