A 32-year-old female police constable committed suicide in Mumbai’s Mankhurd. A woman police constable hanged herself at Mankhurd’s residence in Maharashtra Nagar.
The name of the deceased police constable is Varsha Shinde. She was working at Trombay Police Station. He also wrote a suicide note before committing suicide. In this, she has made serious accusations against her husband and father-in-law. Trombay Police have registered a case of accidental death and have launched an investigation.
According to the information received, Varsha Shinde was working in Trombay Police Station for the last one and a half years. But on Tuesday morning, he suddenly took an extreme decision and ended his life. On getting information about the incident, his relatives were admitted to Shatabdi Hospital in Govandi. But he died before treatment.
As Varsha Shinde wrote in her suicide note, she was upset because of a family dispute. The police has given a preliminary estimate that he committed suicide after getting fed up with the continuous argument. Trombay Police are investigating further.
