A relative of gangster Chhota Shakeel was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday. The ED took action against Saleem Fruit was arrested by EDduring the ongoing Enforcement Directorate searches in Mumbai.
The raids are part of an investigation into money laundering cases involving the house of Hasina Parkar, sister of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, and related property transactions, official sources said. After completing the legal process, the ED conducted a search operation on the seal on Hasina Parkar’s house.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had said that Shiv Sena would hold a press conference this afternoon on the action of ED. Raut had appealed to the Central Investigation Agency to listen to the press conference. These impressions are of special importance in this context. The action is being taken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in about ten places in Mumbai.
The ED has raided the house and other properties of Hasina Parkar, sister of underworld down Dawood Ibrahim. It is being said that this raid has also started in places related to a political leader. The ED’s action is said to be based on information recently obtained from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) FIR and intelligence.
