Oshiwara police have registered a case against her 20-year-old boyfriend for the kidnapping of a 16-year-old college-going girl and have started searching for the accused and the girl.
According to the police, the kidnapped student left home for her college at 1 pm on October 25, after which she did not return home as usual at 7 pm and her mobile was also switched off. The victim’s family started searching here and there for the girl but she was not found anywhere. After that, the victim’s father called one of her friends and inquired about the victim’s whereabouts, only then he came to know that the victim had not gone to college that day. Another friend said that the victim massaged her and told her that she would not come to college today.
Police said that after that the girl’s family called Manas Singh (20), who lives in her neighbourhood, and came to know that his mobile was also switched off. Then the family members suspected that it was Manas who had eloped with the girl, after which, on the basis of suspicion, a case of kidnapping was registered against Manas.
Oshiwara police said that since the girl was a minor, we registered a case of kidnapping. Investigation revealed that Manas now lives in Delhi.
A police team will soon leave for Delhi. Police also said that once the girl is found, her medical will be done. If physical relations are found in the medical, then a case of rape will also be registered against the accused.
