Based on the information received, Nayanagar police on Mira Road arrested a 48-year-old man from Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh on December 28 with 5 pistols, 5 magazines and 8 live cartridges in Naya Nagar area.

After the arrest, the police interrogated the accused, who were found to have kept more firearms and cartridges in a water tank behind a dhaba in Madhya Pradesh, after which a team of Naya Nagar police went to Madhya Pradesh.
