In a unique case of crime reported from Kerala, a 46-year-old man from Kottayam district allegedly injured his wife’s 45-year-old lover by shooting him on his private parts with an air gun on Saturday. After the incident, the victim was admitted to a private hospital for medical care.
As per reports, the Kottayam native’s 40-year-old wife had been living with her lover at Mundankavi in Chengannur area of Alappuzha district. The married couple had earlier submitted a petition for mutual divorce. However, on Saturday, the woman’s husband arrived at her lover’s residence in Mundankavi and fired at him on his private parts using an air gun.
After the incident, the woman’s lover went to a private hospital in Tiruvalla for treatment but returned home as his injuries weren’t serious. However, after a few hours, he experienced severe pain in his genitals, following which he was dashed to the same medical facility for treatment.
The hospital authorities apprised the local police of the matter on Monday. But, the police have not filed a case in connection with the incident as nobody has lodged a written complaint.
Meanwhile, a woman and her three minor kids were hacked to death allegedly by her male cousin and his two aides in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh.
The now-deceased woman was identified as Rekha. Two years ago, she had lent a sum of Rs 2 lakh to her cousin, identified as Santosh Rathore. Santosh, however, could not repay the money. Due to this, Rekha allegedly humiliated him in public. This prompted Santosh to hatch a plan with his two aides to seek revenge against Rekha. The three sedated the woman and her three children and later murdered them by slitting their throats with a knife and scissors.
