Mumbai’s Oshiwara police arrested an accused from Odisha who was being absconding by the police in the rape case for the last one year. According to the police, the accused have so far raped and cheated dozens of women.
According to the information received from the police, the accused Mustaq Khan used to work in a car company, raped a model from Mumbai on the pretext of marriage by pretending to be a Dubai business man, not only this, Mustaq Khan also took 3 lakh rupees from the model.
According to a police source, Mustaq Khan was in Odisha and Oshiwara police had gone to arrest the earlier too, but the police did not get it. On Monday, when a team of Oshiwara Police Odisha went to nab Mustaq, the surrounding people surrounded the police team, after that the police team led by DCP Manjunath Singe produced the accused Mustaq in the Odisa court for transit remand. In the court also the relatives of the accused started creating ruckus. Oshiwara Police was taken the accused helped of the Odisha Police team to Nagpur via road 750 kms.
According to the information, Mustaq used to befriend the women coming to the car’s showroom under his guise, after that he used to impress the women by talking himself to the big business man of Dubai. After that, on the pretext of getting married, he used to rape those women. Not only this, after a few days, Mustaq used to take money from those women by making many excuses, after that he used to abscond from there.
According to the source, Mustaq has made dozens of women his victim in Mumbai itself. The Oshiwara police interrogated the accused as to how many women he had victimized so far.
