A 29-year-old girl was stabbed in the head and stabbed in the neck in Mumbai’s Sakinaka area, police said. The girl, identified as Manisha Jadhav, was found injured near Saibaba Mandir in Sangharshnagar, Chandivali around 1 am on Thursday, police said.
Upon learning of the incident, the police rushed to the spot and rushed Manisha to the nearby Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar (Mumbai) for treatment. However, doctors declared Manisha dead during the treatment. Manisha has been living in a live-in relationship with her friend Raju Nile (42) for the last 3 years.
Manisha and Raju got into an argument when they found out that Raju had gone to see his first wife. At the same time, out of anger, Raju beat Manisha. In the investigation, it has come to light that it was Raju who beat up Manisha with a stick.
Raju is doing TV repair work and Manisha is doing housework, police said. Police have arrested Raju in the case and Sakinaka police have registered a case.
