An attempt has been made to kill a trader in Ulhasnagar out of anger over the business competition. The whole incident has been captured on CCTV. Trader Ravi Peswani owns a shop called Mahalakshmi Snacks Corner in the Gol Maidan area.
Accused Pawan Gupta also has a shop called Juice Center near the telephone exchange. Ravi and Pawan have a commercial rivalry and Pawan Gupta tried to kill Ravi to get rid of it.
Pawan Gupta along with his accomplices tried to attack Ravi twice. But Ravi missed his sword and saved his life. The entire incident was captured on CCTV and a case has been registered against the accused in connection with the attempted murder at Ulhasnagar police station.
The accused in the case, Sachin Ahir, has been arrested by the police and the main accused Pawan Gupta and his accomplices have been released.
