A teacher of a private school in Tamil Nadu’s Chennai allegedly shared pornographic content on a WhatsApp group for students of Class 12th. After the school lodged a complaint in connection with the matter, the city’s all-women police arrested the teacher in question.
The arrestee has been identified as R Mathivanan, a resident of Chennai’s Ambattur area. He even trained Class 12th students for public exams, according to the police.
A report published by The New Indian Express stated that on Friday night, Mathivanan shared pornographic content on the WhatsApp group for students of Class 12th. His act left fellow teachers and students shocked.

The police, on the basis of a complaint lodged by the school, arrested the teacher.
She stated that she used to go to a religious place for learning from the man. He sexually harassed her by making her watch pornographic clips. He even masturbated in front of her and made sexually coloured comments. The minor girl, her mother and policeman were among the witnesses in the case.
