Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh has landed in Mumbai and has reached the office of the crime branch in Kandivali to join the investigation in an alleged extortion case that has been filed against him. He currently has 4-5 extortion cases against him.
Param Bir had gone missing after making some serious allegations at the former Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh. Param Bir was last week only declared ‘absconding’ by the court, but now he has appeared before the authorities who are investigating the case.
A court order was also pasted outside his house after which his lawyers had said that Param Bir Singh is in the country and can appear before the court within 48 hours.
