There have been several cases of honeytrap in the state before, but in the last few years, three such scams have surfaced in political circles, causing an earthquake in Rajasthan’s politics.
Not only that, the leaders involved in this sex scandal had to lose their ministerial posts. He even had to go to jail. One of the leaders has recently passed away.
A major sex scandal broke out at a famous girls’ college in Ajmer in the nineties. The then-president of Ajmer Youth Congress, Farooq Chisti, was the mastermind behind the scam. He threatened to expose the pornographic videos and photos, forcing the student and her friends to have sex at the farmhouse.
After this, the rate of atrocities continued to increase. Mohammad Farooq Chishti and his gang members forced about 100 female students to have sex. The constant exploitation begins by threatening to make pornographic videos and photos viral. Fed up with poverty, one student committed suicide. The victim students were from a distinguished family. After that 4 students committed suicide for fear of notoriety.
The second major political sex scandal took place during the Congress. In 2011, a pornographic CD of Water Resources Minister Mahipal Maderna and a nurse came to light. After making this obscene CD, ANM Bhanwari Devi planned to extort crores of rupees from Mahipal Maderna. Meanwhile, the leader’s men kidnapped Bhanwari Devi, killed her and cremated her body.
Mahipal Maderna was arrested by the police. In addition, more than a dozen accused, including former MLA Malkhan Singh Bishnoi, were arrested. She remained in prison and died some time ago.
