Two children sexually abused by neighbours in Agra and Vrindavan

A 6-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by her neighbour while returning from a primary school in Agra. The accused has been identified as Bobby, aged 22. The minor girl was allegedly picked from the school by Bobby, claiming that her health was not okay, and she was feeling unwell.

According to the girl’s father, Bobby requested the school authorities to leave the girl early because she was sick, the Times of India reported. Bobby pretended to be her elder brother who came to the school to bring her back home, the father of the minor who is a labourer alleged. When they were on their way home, Bobby had allegedly sexually assaulted the minor, the father said. He also said that her daughter came home crying at around 12:30 pm, even after asking her several times, the minor did not tell what had happened to her. But after a while, she narrated the incident to her aunt and a complaint was registered by the father of the minor against Bobby. An FIR was registered by the police under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the POSCO act. Bobby was arrested by the police and sent to judicial custody.

In another shocking case, a Dalit girl aged 7 was allegedly sexually assaulted by her neighbour in Vrindavan. The minor girl was playing outside her house when she was lured by the 16-year-old boy on the ploy of giving her chocolates and toffees, the TOI reported. An FIR was filed by the victim’s father and the juvenile was charged under IPC section 376, SC/ST act and POSCO. In the FIR, the father of the minor girl alleged that her daughter was raped by the 16-year-old and his niece had witnessed the incident. When the minor cried for help, the boy fled from the spot.

When the girl’s family went to confront the boy’s family, they had allegedly passed casteist remarks and behaved badly with them.
