Two suspected criminals shot dead by Delhi Police in an encounter in Khajuri Khas

Two suspected criminals have been shot dead by the Delhi Police in an encounter in Khajuri Khas area of Trans Yamuna in the national capital on Thursday.

Two police personnel have also sustained bullet injuries in the encounter.

The encounter took place after Delhi Police laid a trap to arrest the suspects identified as Amir and Ramzan.

The duo allegedly opened fire on the police team who retaliated. The suspects-Amir and Ramzan-were declared dead at the hospital.

Two automatic pistols, four magazines and 15 live cartridges were recovered from the two deceased criminals, said ANI reported.
