A 40-year-old woman pimp was arrested by Oshiwara police who busted a trafficking racket and rescued three girls from Aradhana building in Oshiwara, an official said.
From the information of the police, it came to know that the business of sex racket is going on by keeping girls in the Aradhana building. The police raided the Aradhana building by sending a fake customer. A woman named Madhu was arrested by the police and rescued 3 girls.
According to the police, the accused Madhu was running the business of sex racket for several months. Madhu used to take 4 to 5 thousand rupees from a customer.
The accused used to push girls into prostitution work for money, police said.
A case was registered under the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Immorally Trafficking Act (PITA), the official added.
