People at Patna railway station were left red-faced after an adult film played on the TV screens instead of advertisements on the electronic displays installed there for nearly three minutes. The incident took place on Sunday at around 9:30 AM at platform number 10, said reports. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.
In the clip, passengers were seen leaving the platform in splits. However, without wasting any time, they approached the Government Railway Police (GRP)and Railway Protection Force (RPF) to file a complaint. The RPF soon contacted Dutta Communication asking them to stop playing the obscene clip in front of people, including women and children.
Swinging into action, a Railway official registered an FIR against Dutta Communication. Moreover, it terminated the contract which was given to the agency for relaying advertisements on television screens at the railway station. Further investigations, however, are underway.
