The husband of a highly educated family victimized his wife by falling prey to superstition. A case has been registered against eight persons, including Raghunath Yemul, who is known as a political guru, and Yamul has been arrested by the Chathushrungi police. According to the police, the victim belongs to a highly educated family and her husband Ganesh Gaikwad has been harassing her since January 23, 2017. Gaikwad resorted to domestic violence in the form of giving cigarette butts and beating him until he became deaf.
The victim had lodged a complaint against eight people, including her husband, last month. After receiving the complaint, the police filed a case against all of them. Meanwhile, six people have been granted pre-arrest bail in the case, while husband Ganesh Gaikwad and another are still absconding.
It has come to light that this whole incident took place at the behest of Raghunath Rajaram Yemul. According to the complaint, Yemul had asked her husband Ganesh Gaikwad to do all these acts. ‘Your wife’s footsteps are not good.
